V-Day look :)

I'm sure many of you lovely ladies have plans for Valentine's day,
single or not.
If so, you might want fun but wearable Valentine's day look.
I've created one today that I would totally wear out for the holiday.
<3

I used:
Too Faced's Shadow Insurance
Sleeks 'Parma Violet' & 'Flump'- crease
Lime Crime's 'Pearl-ple' & SYN Cosmetics' 'Case'- highlight
SYN Cosmetics' 'Trace'- inner corners
SYN Cosmetics' 'Dash'& 'Smooch'- lid
SYN Cosmetics' 'Romance'- lower lash line
Revlon's 'Matte Balm in 'Elusive'- lips

I actually really liked this look.
It's soft and flirty :))

Pentatonix Daft Punk look!

So for those of you who don't know who Pentatonix is,
it's this little group of 5 (duh) people who can sing basically
anything acapella, and their harmonizing is just insane.
Not to mention their vocal ranges and other various talents that come into play in their music.

My favorite song of theirs is this bad-A little Daft Punk medley.
Here it is:

I based my look today off the girl.
This look was PURELY for fun,
not to show off any skill (or lack thereof!)
or even good application.
I just thought her look was so out there & fun
that I wanted to recreate it myself :)
(I could NOT find a bright blue wig for the life of me)

Here's my version!

ahahaha
So silly.
The look really would have been like a gajillion times better with a blue wig.
But. Whatever.
It was still so fun to play around & create this :P

I used:
Too Faced's Shadow Insurance
UD's 'Asphyxia'- lid
Sleek's 'Bolt' & 'Chill' and Lime Crime's 'Atlanteal'- blue around eyes
unnnamed shimmery white from Maybelline- corner of eyes
SYN Cosmetucs' 'Absolute'- under eyes
Covergirl Line Exact eyeliner
unnamed holo glitter shadow from Maybelline- glitter stripe on face

What do you guys think?
It was too fun.
Even more important, the video is amazeballs.
So make sure you check out allll their stuff on youtube & iTunes!

Tinkerbell Inspired

Today is my daughter's 2nd birthday!
She's in love with fairies,
so naturally we are having a fairy themed birthday party for her.
In honor of that, I decided to play around with a fun little Tinkerbell inspired look.

This looked much cooler in person than on here.
You could see the full effect of the dusted green on my cheeks
& around my eyes.
It just looked better, humph.

Here's a super crappy pic of the mediocre design I did on my cheeks:

This design was fairy-like to me?
Eh, they're not symmetrical at all on both cheeks
(which drives me crazy),
but it was just for fun.

I used:
Too Faced's Shadow Insurance
BFTE's 'Envy'- dusting around eyes/face
Victorian Disco 'Yoda's Yoga Mat' - browbone
UD's 'Damaged ', Sugarpill's 'Midori ', & BFTE's 'Green Apple '- crease
 VD's 'The Fett'- outer crease
Lime Crime's 'Seahorse Discourse '- lid
UD's 'Stash'- inner corners
Covergirl Line Exact eyeliner
Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara

Face: UD 24/7 Eyeliner in 'Graffiti'
& Lime Crime's Uniliner in 'Lunar Sea'

I also at one point attempted to use my UD Heavy Metal gold glitter eyeliner
in the inner corners of my lids too, if you see some weird, dark area in the first picture.
That didn't translate well, either.
Sweet.

All in all,
I actually really liked this.
It was fun and whimsical.
What do you think?
How would you have done a Tinkerbell look?

PPC- 'Fairy Tales'

Alright everyone, this is my LAST fairy themed polish.
If you remember the first one,
you'll see that the two are verrrry similar.

Here's 2 coats of 'Fairy Tales' over Essie's 'In the Cab-ana'.

'Fairy Tales' is a "minty blue crelly filled" with circle glitters of all sizes and colored in either blue, green, hot pink, and light pink. It went over 'In the Cab-ana' nicely.
