GG's 'More to Explore'

This is the last polish I have from CG's Spring Roadtrip collection,
and it's a nice Summer polish, too.

Here's 3 coats of 'More to Explore':

'More to Explore' is a bright, peach cream. The formal was 'eh', as was the formula for most of this collection. By the time they released Electric Nights, however, they made up for it.

Regardless, this is a beautiful, happy color that I love wearing on my short, messed up nail :P

Colourpop Cosmetics - Julep

I have another one of the four lippies I purchased the other day to show you!
This one is another pink, but it's much more toned down than 'Go Fish'.
Here's Julep:

Julep is described as "a bright red coral" cream... but I don't know about the 'red' part :)

This was really a gorgeous color that's perfect for Spring or Summer.
The creamy texture to the hippie was great,
and I would definitely suggest it for the upcoming season!
:)

Colourpop Cosmetics- 'Go Fish'

Happy Mother's Day!!

So I know I've been MIA of a week or two again,
but the end of the school year is truly winding down now,
(I have ONE full week left!)
and my schedule is crazy busy.

However, I finally took some time to blog about 1 of the 4 new Colourpop lippies that I ordered a week or two ago.

Today's post is about 'Go Fish'.

This is the first Hyper Glossy lippie that I've tried.
I usually prefer a matte finish,
so I was skeptical about liking this one.
Here it is:

'Go Fish' is described as a "vibrant, coral-red"... but it's more of a vibrant, hot pink ;)
Either way, IT'S AWESOME.
I couldn't believe how much I loved it.
Summer is a perfect time for a lippie like this,
and I can't wait to break it out :)

CG's Spring 2015 Collection- 'I Brake for Colour'

Well, this is the second to last of my Spring polishes from CG
(it's about time to break out their neon summer collection! :P)
Today's post is just a straight- forward, red/pink creme.

Here's 2 coats of 'I Brake for Colour':

This polish's consistency was a bit better than some of the others from the collection.
It was pretty opaque and not nearly as watery.
Progress!

Stay tuned for CG's BAD A neon collection in the next week or so!

Polish 'M- 'Spring Style'

Happy Sunday Sunday!
I have a great Spring polish for you today.
I'm sure all of you have heard of Polish'M.
Today's post is my first ever polish from them,
and I was very impressed.
Here's 2 coats of 'Spring Style'.

'Spring Style' is a pastel pink base with a slight, iridescent/pastel purple shimmer to it.
Alos, you can see that it has almost every color of glitter imaginable.
These glitters come in little, medium, and large hexes, circles, and squares.
It's just perfect.

China Glaze Spring 2015 Roadtrip collection- 'Boho Blues'

Happy Tuesday!
It's in the 70's all week here this week,
and aside from my seasonal allergies-
it makes me so ready for Spring! :)

Here's another polish from CG's 2015 Spring Roadtrip collection,
'Boho Blues'!
(3 coats)

'Boho Blues' is really more of a periwinkle color than a blue.
It reminds me slightly of Essie's 'Bikini So Teeny' from a year or two ago.
It's lovely!
It's not my favorite color for my skin tone,
but it's a solid polish.

China Glaze Spring 2015 Roadtrip Collection- 'Wanderlust'

Happy Friday!
I'm going to see Flux Pavilion tonight,
and I'm beyond stoked.
It's been a couple years since I've seen him,
and I need a night out :P

Anyway,
I have another lovely polish from CG's new Spring Collection.
Here's 2 coats of 'Wanderlust':

'Wanderlust' is a pastel lilac creme with slight light orange shimmer
(you can see this very faintly in the first & second picture).
It actually reminds me faintly of 'In a Lily Bit' from their Spring collection last year,
but I like it all the same! :)

China Glaze Spring 2015 Road Trip Collection- 'Pack Lightly'

Spring is officially here in Tennessee, finally!
To celebrate, I'm breaking out the polishes I bought from China Glaze's new Spring collection.
The first of many is 'Pack Lightly'.
Here's 3 coats:

'Pack Lightly' is a pastel, orange cream colored creme polish.
It was a bit more watery than I would have liked,
but the color and finished product is lovely.
It reminds me faintly of the pastel orange Sinful Colors put out for their spring collection 2 years ago.

Colourpop Cosmetics Lippie Stix 'Easy'

So far, I've tried matte & satin hippie stix.
For today, however, I have my first glossy stix.
I don't usually do glossy/wet lipstick because I hate how easily it comes off and gets in my hair, on my fork, etc.... BUT, this was so pretty online that I had to try it.

Here's 'Easy'... and boy, is it easy on the eyes.

'Easy' is a pastel, bubblegum pink gloss.
It applied like butter,
and I think it's lovely.

It's a little bit more baby pink than I normally like,
only because on ME- I feel like it makes me look like a high schooler sometimes.
Regardless, though, this lippie is lovely & PERFECT for Spring! :)

My Little Pony makeup series- Fluttershy

I've got another installment in my My Little Pony makeup series for you today
(see the first one here).
Today's look is based off of Fluttershy:

She represents the element of kindness,
so I wanted the look I created for her to not only use her colors,
but be soft and gentle as well.

Here's what I came up with!

I used:
Too Faced's Shadow Insurance
UD's 'El Dorado' & 'Midnight Cowboy'- inner half of lid
UD's 'Hot Pants'- outer part of lid
Sleek's 'Pout' & Sugarpill's 'Dollipop'- crease
SYN Cosmetics' 'Audacious'- highlight
Lime Crime's 'Circus Girl'- lower lash line
Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara

Pop Culture Cosmetics- 'Happy Daisy'

My second PCC polish is this happy, festive top coat.
Here's 2 coats of 'Happy Daisy' over
2 coats of Sinful Colors' 'Unicorn'.

'Happy Daisy' is a clear top coat filled with all sizes of yellow
and white hexes. There are a couple white daisy glitters in there,
but their super hard to get to, even with a toothpick :/

Despite that, this is such a happy, lighthearted mani that I don't even care
if the daisies come out or not-
the combo is still adorable!

What do you think?

Pop Culture Cosmetics 'Smart & Sassy'

I haven't had a Pop Culture Cosmetics polish in awhile,
but when I saw their new Spring/Easter polishes-
I had to have some.

Here's the first of several,
'Smart & Sassy' over Sinful Colors' 'Cotton Candy'

'Smart & Sassy' is a light pink jelly filled with large blue stars,
Large blue, neon yellow, and pink hexes, small & square iridescent glitter,
and yellow, blue, & pink micro-glitter.

I was quite pleased with this polish?
It's super adorable and great for Spring :)

Revlon Matte Balm Stain- 'Audacious'

Whew!
Sorry it's been almost/over a week since I posted last.
I've had so much going on with job fairs, wedding planning,
and now moving houses!

Anyway,
ya'll know I'm in love with Revlon's Matte Balm Stains,
(see a full review of them here)
and now that it's Spring/close to Summer,
I was ready to pick up some brighter colors :)

Here's 'Audacious'!

'Audacious' is a bright, peachy-orange shade.
:)

It's much brighter than these pictures can show,
AND I LOVE IT.
!!!

As always, the formula and wearability of these balm stains are incredible.
I HIGHLY recommend you scoop one or two of these babies up for the coming season,
if you haven't already!

'Everything But the Kitchen Sink'

I have my second polish from the new (to me) indie maker,
Indie Polish.
:)

Here's 'Everything But the Kitchen Sink' :)

'Everything But the Kitchen Sink' is a clear topcoat filled with various sizes
and shapes of glitter: hexes, shreds, micro glitter- everything :)
If not black, the colors of the glitter were all Spring-like,
which is what prompted be to buy the polish now.

It's a super cute top coat :)
