my 'go-to' look & Laine blogger award

 I just signed up for a bigger apartment & am so. stoked. to move in!

Anyway, I know I do a lot of more over the top looks,

so today I figured I'd post my newest everyday, daytime, 'go-to' look.

*outdoor light, shade

So I really love this look.

 It's a great subtle, neutral look that goes with anything, is super easy to do, & takes MAYBE 5 minutes. 

I used(all Urban Decay):

'Spotlight' on the inner corners

'Wreckage' on the outer corners

'Skimp' on the brown bone

All can be seen here in UD's Mariposa palette!

1. I am the proud parent of a beautiful, amazing 3 month old baby girl :angel

2. My major is Special Education, & i hope to work intimately with students with special needs, be it in a school or private setting.

3. I'm 1/4 Cherokee, and have my first name tattooed in Cherokee on the back of my neck.

4. I LOVE to travel. My recent trips abroad were to Greece & Jamaica, and next is Rome!

5. One of my all time favorite movies is 'Love Actually' and I literally watch it about once a week.

6. It appears I was born without an appendix... ? :o

7. My favorite musical artist is ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING Imogen Heap, and my favorite genre is dubstep! :e

Okay, so Kaki over at 'Glitter Obsession' gave me this awesome little number.

Ze glitter badge! 

If you'd have told me a year ago that I would be as glitter obsessed as I am now I would have laughed in your face. I don't know what it was, but after having a little girl & becoming a mother- I became a WHOLE lot more game to embrace some of the girly things in life that I had snubbed before. 

Anyway,

I'm supposed to post some pictures of my favorite glitter polish (to be worthy, of course). Now there's no way that I could pick JUST ONE glitter polish, so i decided to post a swatch of all my favorites :p

'liebster'

so after a ridiculously hectic day with my daughter, she's finally settled down enough that I can put her down and have the first 'me' time i've had since I got up early this morning- whew.

today i received my first little award!
