Wet N Wild's Fergie 'D-Vinely Chilled' lipstick

So as I was randomly perusing my local drugstores' shelves the other day,
I snatched up this baby.
It looked like Fall to me,
and I'm a sucker for an oxblood-colored anything.
(I actually ended up pairing it with this look)

I've only ever tried one other Fergie lipstick (and I've been much less than impressed with Wet N Wild's other Fergie products), so I didn't have very high expectations.
Here's what I found:

As you can see, indoors, it's a lusty, merlot-red.

In natural light, however-

It turns much more fuchsia-red.

----

I like it better as the wine-red :)
Either way, it was an okay buy.
The formula wasn't as great as nicer (and my more preferred) lipsticks like Maybelline,
(and certainly nothing like Mac),
but hey- you get what you pay for.

It's cheap and great for every now and then.
I have no problem adding it to my arsenal of lipstick options :)

February favorites!

It's that time again!
Here are my favorites from this past month:

This new lipstick is from Wet N Wild's Fergie Centerstage collection.
It's a lovely, girly pink lipstick that is perfect for spring,
and feels super soft on your lips!

*not my photo
This scent is nothing new, but it's been many years since i've used it & I decided to revisit it again this month. Herbal Essences are some of my very favorite shampoos & conditioners.
They smell fantastic & it's perfect for my long hair :)

3. Pastels (makeup & nails)

All of the pastels everywhere are definitely getting me in the mood for spring. I'm of course finishing up swatches of the Sugar Rush collection (pictured above),
and I'm beginning to dabble in pastel eye looks, too, which are some of my favorites to play with :) Can't wait!

What has been your favorite product or products from February?
Let me know! :)

Fergie Centerstage Lipstick-'Penthouse Sweet'

Hello all lovely readers.
I have another lipstick review for you today.

I recently purchased a lipstick from Wet N Wild's Fergie Centerstage collection because I had heard such good things about them, and I figured I'd found out for myself.

Here's 'Penthouse Sweet'.

'Penthouse Sweet' is a poptastic, bubblegum color :)

I was very pleased with this baby! Like I said, I had heard good things about these lipsticks,
but wasn't sure. I'll definitely be purchasing more of them in the future, though.
They go on smooth & are a great price! :k

My lipstick collection is still in it's infancy, but I LOVE this color on me.
It's super flirty & fun :D

What are your thoughts?
What has your experience been with these lipsticks?
Let me know! :)

'Maldives Sky' look

Heyyyyyy!
Today is my last day of Winter break :/
BUT, Tanner & I got some great news yesterday
so we're apt/townhome hunting today at some really cool places.
I'm stoked :)

Anyway, the other day I swatched Wet N Wild/Fergie's palette 'Maldives Sky'.
Here is the look I created!

**Close up

Tada!
There are 5 shadows in the palette, & I tried to use them in the most logical place that would be easy to replicate, even if you're not adept with makeup! It just takes a little blending.

I was surprised how much I liked this look. The shadows surprisingly had pretty great pigmentation. I LOVE these colors together; it reminded me of the colors in the children's book 'he Rainbow Fish'!

What do you guys think?
Let me know! :D

Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection- 'Maldives Sky' swatches

Happy Sunday, fellow bloggers!
I was browsing around in my local Walgreens last night & came across the newly launched makeup products from Fergie & Wet n Wild.
I've tried some of the nail polishes and was pretty disappointed,
but I figured i'd give some of the makeup a go.

They had several beautiful palettes from the Centerstage collection to choose from,
but for my first time- I chose 'Maldives Sky'.
I'm a sucker for green, blue, & purple on my eyes!

I've never used any Wet n Wild makeup products before,
so i'm anxious to try this palette. The colors are beautiful! I really love the combo.
Hopefully the quality will be better than the polishes!

(( No primer ))
((^ w/ primer ))

As you can see, there's really not that much of a difference between wearing the shadows alone or with a primer. Even so,  I think i'll wear them WITH the primer.
And, (a little unexpected), it appears most of the shadows in my palette are mattes, which I'm not as familiar with. Practice makes perfect though!

I'll try to post a look with these soon.
Have any of you tried any from the Centerstage collection?
What are your thoughts on any of the products from this line, makeup or polish?
Let me know!
Thanks :D
